2-Step Detox-Cleanse

 

A Simple Formula to Cleanse & Energize—The Healthy Way!

There is no doubt that our bodies are challenged by all of the negative elements they are exposed to, either intentionally or unknowingly. Our cells must deal with food chemicals, trans-fats, processed foods, slowed elimination, prescription drugs, and a myriad of other potential complications.

 

For people who encounter this discomfort, or for those who just want to clear things out and restart their systems again, a “cleanse” can be a helpful and healthful option.

 

Cleansing is by definition the elimination of built up “toxins” from the body, which is why it is also known as a detox. As all of the waste products of metabolism are toxic to the body, that needs to be included as part of the process as well.

 

The key word for cleansing is elimination, so the first place to look is your body’s natural elimination pathways. There are three primary means by which the body eliminates waste: your lungs (with every exhale), your urinary tract, and your digestive tract.

 

This article will focus on just the digestive tract as it is the most likely exit path for a cleansing program.

 

2-step detoxWith just two steps, you can experience the benefits of a “detox.”

 

Step 1:

 

To get things moving, Step 1 uses a short term “modified fast” along with three powerful GNLD/NeoLife products: Neo-Lax, to

Start by picking a time when changing your diet for a day or two will fit into your schedule.

 

On that day, start off with a warm liquid such as chamomile tea. Drink 12 to 16 ounces. Take Neo-Lax, Garlic Allium Complex, and Betagard as directed on their labels. After that, eat only fresh fruits and vegetables (raw or lightly steamed). You can eat as much as you want, as often as you want, throughout the day. No bananas though. No juicing or commercial fruit juice either. Both can deliver too much high glycemic response carbohydrates and disrupt

your energy levels. Whole raw fruits and vegetables are best, as is eating smaller amounts frequently, every hour or so.

 

Continue to drink plenty of liquids in the form of tea or water. Try for 16 ounces every 1-2 hours. Abstain from soda pop or sugary drinks. Coffee is acceptable, without the addition of sugar or dairy products.

 

At the end of the day, between your evening meal and bedtime, repeat Neo-Lax and Garlic Allium Complex as directed on their labels.

Remember to eat as much fresh fruit and vegetables as you want—there is no need to feel hungry. Be sure to drink LOTS of liquids!

 

The combination of fluids, fruits and vegetables, along with Neo-Lax, should get your primary elimination pathway, your bowels, moving to start the cleansing process. Garlic Allium Complex helps chase out undesirable bacteria.

 

Repeat the process the next day.

On the third morning, it’s time to re-establish healthy intestinal flora, so discontinue Neo-Lax and Garlic Allium  Complex, and begin with Acidophilus Plus as directed on the label. This will reintroduce healthy probiotics to help “re-colonize” your intestinal tract. Continue with Betagard as directed on the label.

 

You should continue consuming liquids in abundance but it’s time to add some high quality protein, such as a NeoLife Shake. Do that for breakfast and again for lunch.

 

At the end of the day eat a healthy, low-fat, high-protein meal. For example, a grilled salmon filet or baked chicken breast, along with some raw or steamed greens like spinach or broccoli (as much as you like). Include a quarter-cup of low-fat cottage cheese, just to round things out.

 

Between your last meal and bedtime, repeat the Acidophilus Plus.

 

Continue taking Acidophilus Plus the following day and continue to Day 7. Return to eating a healthy, low-fat, high-fiber diet, and you should be good to go.
