- · Vitamin C – fights infection both bacterial and viral. It is best to use a supplement that provides a continuous release of vitamin C. The vitamin C should not just be ascorbic acid but complete as found in nature.

Great information Pat. Just never know with bacteria's these days. Little did I imagine the big thing happening here in Colorado with cantaloupe. Never heard of kelp cleaner. Thank you.

Bad bacteria is all around us, we just have to have a healthy digestive tract and the correct balance of intestinal flora (good bacteria) to fight off the bad stuff when we are exposed to it. We had actually purchased Rocky Ford cantaloupe the end of August but fortunately we did not become ill. Either our immune systems were strong enough or they were not contaminated. The kelp cleaner is available from my company. It is called ‘Green” and is safe enough to even brush your teeth with or bath the baby. Really enjoyed the post. I have had food poisioning and its no fun. I also tend to forget to wash my veggies before I eat them so the reminder again was good.
Have to share something also ..when I first saw your word "listeriosis" and the funny little germ pics all I could think of was "listeriosis – deleting all the good bacteria due to too much Listerine" – My funny bone was working overtime and I just kept laughing. So your post had a dual effect – good info and good laughter which is also healing. Bless

Great post Pat. I so agree with you as I watch so many people constantly get sick. If they would be proactive and boost their immune system throughout the year with great supplements they would save themselves losing time off work and the misery of being sick.
